Set up a concept and image

As important as the foundation of a house – Concept and image are your most powerful skills.
Many people are talking about these topics. What we are going to do is to break those taboos and mysticisms about concept and image for enterprises. And give an easy overview about how it works.

The image of our business is a physical representation of the concept. For example: let’s say the concept is the mind and the image is the body.

There are many firms that don’t centre their attention on the image, and of course even less on the concept.
A lot of people don’t understand what a concept really is. It’s like someone who doesn’t care about his own mind and only a bit on his body. It’s hard to believe but understandable.

Just remember for a moment the history about those 3 pigs …

The key is to build solid bases. The route to success is always the same, for everyone. You just have to be sure that you have the necessary equipment for the adventure if you want to succeed.

Well then, if you still don’t have a concept or idea, let start. You have to think about the following points to define your concept:

  1.  What are your ethical bases?
  2.  What is your philosophy?
  3.  What is the policy of your gastronomic business?
  4.  How can you describe your concept in just a few words?
  5.  What is your message to the audience?
  6.  Who is your target audience?
  7.  What do you offer to your customers?

Those are the bases to start developing a concept. The most important part. The foundations.

After this process the image is just an adaptation. A group of ideas, meanings, perceptions shown in colours, lines, typography, etc.

In gastronomy, we always offer services, experiences, ”moments” to the customers. Therefore, concepts and image are the strongest props.

The profits you’ll gain from having a solid base can be summarized in one word. SUCCESS.
